Shopify - Review Websites and Settings

Add your Google, Yelp, and other review links and set the percentage of traffic each platform receives. Configure email delay and company display name in Settings.

After installing Feedback Guru on Shopify, configure where you want reviews to go and how the request emails behave. You’ll use Review Websites for your links and traffic split, and Settings for delay and branding.

Review Websites

Review Websites are the URLs where customers can leave a review (e.g. your Google Business Profile, Yelp page, Trustpilot, Sitejabber). Feedback Guru sends each customer to one of these links based on the Traffic % you set for each.

Add and edit review URLs

  1. In the Feedback Guru admin, click Review Websites in the left sidebar.
  2. For each platform you want to use, enter the Review Website URL (the full link where customers can leave a review) and the Traffic % (the share of review requests that should go to that platform). Percentages should add up to 100%.
  3. Click + Add New Website to add another row.
  4. When you’re done, click Save Changes.

How the percentage split works

When a customer clicks through from their review request email, Feedback Guru sends them to one of your configured URLs according to your Traffic % settings. Over time, about 66% of clicks go to the platform set to 66%, and so on. That lets you grow reviews on multiple platforms at once.


Settings

Click Settings in the left sidebar to configure how and when review requests are sent, and how your company appears in the email.

Review Request Email Settings

  • Days to delay review request - Number of days after the shipping (or order) email before the review request is sent. We recommend 7-10 days after the shipping email so the customer has time to receive the order. If you don’t ship physical products, 1-3 days after the order confirmation is usually better.
  • Review BCC email address - (Direct integration only.) Your unique BCC address for adding to shipping or order confirmation emails. If you’re on Shopify, you don’t use this; it’s for Direct setup.

Company & Support Settings

  • Company display name - The name of your company or brand shown in the review request email body.
  • Customer support email - Where support request emails from customers are forwarded. If you leave this blank, the primary team admin email is used.

Click Save Settings at the bottom to apply your changes.

Next steps

  • Direct integration: If you’re using Direct instead of Shopify, you still add Review Websites and set Traffic % the same way. Your Review BCC email address appears under Settings; add it as BCC to your shipping or order confirmation emails.
