Install Feedback Guru on Shopify

Install the app from the Shopify App Store, connect your store, and subscribe. Then configure your review URLs in the admin.

This walkthrough gets Feedback Guru installed on your Shopify store and your subscription set up. After that, you’ll configure Review Websites and settings in the Feedback Guru admin.

1. Install from the Shopify App Store

  1. Open the Feedback Guru listing on the Shopify App Store.
  2. Click Add app (or Install).
  3. When prompted, log in to your Shopify store if needed and approve the install.
  4. Review the permissions the app requests. Click Install app to continue.

Your store is now connected to Feedback Guru. You wil be redirected to Feedback Guru to finalize your account setup and start your subscription.

2. Subscribe (choose a plan)

After you’ve installed the app and completed onboarding in the Feedback Guru admin:

  1. In the left sidebar, click Subscription.
  2. Click Start Subscription on Shopify.
  3. On the Shopify Managed Plans page select the subscription that fits you best.

Billing is through Shopify and appears on your regular Shopify bill. Once your subscription is active, you’re ready to configure review URLs.

3. Open the Feedback Guru admin

After you approve billing, Shopify usually redirects you back to your Shopify admin. Go to AppsFeedback Guru to open the app. If you weren’t redirected, use AppsFeedback Guru from your Shopify admin, or sign in at app.feedback.guru with the account linked to your store.

4. Configure your review URLs and settings

The next step is to add the review links (Google, Yelp, etc.) and set the percentage of traffic each platform gets. That’s covered in Shopify settings. Add your Review Websites, set your traffic split, and adjust any options (e.g. email timing) you want to use.

Once that’s done, Feedback Guru will automatically send review requests when orders are fulfilled and route customers to the platforms you configured.
